Bio:

Joanne Li has been a council member since May 2005. Her son Alan attended TMES from pre-school (when it was a private school) through 5th grade when it became a charter school. He now attends Sandia Preparatory School and has wonderful memories of being a student at TMES. As a parent of a TMES student, Joanne was always eager to volunteer either in the classroom, book fair, jog-a-thon or field trips. Even though she no longer has a student at TMES she feels that serving on the council is her way of still volunteering her time to a truly wonderful learning environment for children. Joanne has seen many wonderful changes over the years and is very happy to still be part of the TMES family. Joanne brings a wealth of knowledge to the council with her background in finance and accounting and her work experience with Hewlett Packard and QinetiQ North America.
