Bio: I have lived in Albuquerque since I was 18 months old; I love New Mexico, and am proud of what its people can do. I am a product of Albuquerque Public Schools, and am also proud of that. Recently I graduated from the College of Santa Fe – Albuquerque, which sadly, no longer exists. I learned a great deal there about teaching, but also about myself, and I am excited to put some of that learning to use! I came into teaching a little later in life, but there are many teachers in my family, including my wife of almost 11 years, and they couldn't talk me out of it! I am ready to start my teaching career in the 9 - 12 age group. My daughter, Emma, is a third-year at TMES, and her cousin Abigail is starting at TMES as a kindergartener. My daughter blossomed in the Montessori environment, and I felt like it was the kind of environment that I would also blossom in as a teacher. I enjoy reading, music, history, swimming, cycling, and hiking...but I also enjoy some TV as well! I look forward to an exciting first year at TMES!

Bio:
I am excited about being part of the team here at TMES. I enjoy working with young students in a caring, nurturing environment where I wish to help them reach their full potential. Over the past five years, I have worked in various capacities in the Albuquerque Public Schools. I have worked as a library assistant, a Special Education assistant and have substituted at several elementary schools as well. I have two beautiful daughters, a wonderful husband, and a goofy-looking dog named Murphy. I look forward to a great year filled with new challenges, new hopes and dreams fulfilled for all of us.
