Mr. Derek & Ms. Belinda's Class Update:

Dear 9-12 Parents,
The 9-12 students have been studying Literature Genres. The students will be doing a book report for each book they read. They will have a specific book report form to go along with the genre of the book they choose. We would like to ask that you help your child choose a book appropriate for their age and grade. We have posted a list of suggested books on our class pages. Please use this as a guide if your child is unsure what they would like to read. Your child may bring their book to school if they would like to read it during SSR (sustained silent reading). We encourage the students to do their book reports at school in case they need extra help and guidance. If they are unable to find the time to complete a book report at school, then they should take a book report form home. We are looking forward to learning about the books our students are reading.
