Good day to all parents of Mr. John's class,
We had a great day at Popejoy Theater attending “Nate the Great”. The kids really enjoyed it and learned about searching for clues in order to be a good detective.
We want to welcome Mireya Jaeger to our classroom community. She is a third year and had a field trip on her first day of school…how lucky is that.
The 2010 Science Fair is planned for March 11 th and 12 th and packets for the event should arrive this week. Third years are expected to do a project by themselves and first and second years have the option.
Friday, February 12 th will be our Valentines Day Party. The kids have been given instructions as to how this will work and also a note should be up on the website for our class.
Parents who wish to volunteer their time at TMES can do so by obtaining a packet for finger printing and a background check at the office. I want to thank the parent volunteers for all their help in the school and classrooms.
Believe me…it really, really helps!
We have 2 cases of strep throat in our classroom so be aware. If your child has a temperature, please keep them at home.
