Bio:
Ms. Karen is delighted to return for her second year as a 6-9 head teacher at TMES! In 2008 Ms. Karen received her NM K-8 teacher's license, completed her Montessori 6-9 training and certification with NAMC, and graduated from UNM with a Masters in Elementary Education. This is her fourth year at TMES.
She was Ms. Kari's E.A. in the 9-12 classrooms for two years and her student teacher.
Ms. Karen is a native of Albuquerque and lives in Los Ranchos with her husband, two dogs, four cats, plus lots of birds, fish, toads and other critters in their yard. One daughter (19) attends college at UNM and teaches tap dancing, and the other (23) lives in Washington State and is a naturalist at an ecology camp.
Ms. Karen's undergraduate degree is in Fine Arts, and she co-owned an art gallery in downtown Albuquerque during the 1980's. She dances and teaches Argentine Tango, designs bead jewelry, and enjoys reading, photography, and working in her yard and garden.

Bio:
Ms. Jennifer is a certified NCME 3-6 Montessori Teacher (and a lisenced NM Educational Assistant) who has worked at TMES as an assistant in the 6-9 classrooms for the past two years, but has worked in Montessori for over 10 years. This year she will be joining Ms. Karen in the 6-9 classroom. Ms.
Jennifer loves to workout at the gym and run cross country with her two girls and husband.
