Bio:
As a Montessori educator, I have been teaching for twenty-four years. Born and raised in Houston, TX, I lived for a short while in Austin and then returned to complete a BA in English from the University of Houston. I hold teaching certifications in Montessori Education: ages three through twelve. About seven years ago, I moved here to Albuquerque. It was one of the best decisions of my life! Currently, I am working on a Master's Degree in Education and I am a published writer. I have previous teaching experience with hearing impaired, learning delayed, emotionally disturbed, and multi-handicapped children.
I like to travel and enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, and listening to music. I live with an obnoxious, but beautiful 13lb, three year old feline named George. As long as there is a never ending supply of treats and toys, we live in peace! I am excited to be joining the faculty here at TMES and I look forward to meeting and teaching with your children!
