Bio:
This is my third year teaching at TMES. I am so fortunate to be here with your children and this great staff. I am looking forward to an exciting and busy year! I graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a Minor in Sciences. I was trained in Montessori 6-9 through CMTE NY where Ms. Kari was an instructor. I have taught Montessori Pre-school, Substitute taught, and assisted in Special Education, Traditional Education, and Montessori. I have 3 children and two of them attend TMES. In my free time I love to read, relax, and spend time outdoors with my children.

Bio:
Originally from Los Lunas, Ellen has recently returned to New Mexico from Vermont, where she worked at a Waldorf School and practiced printmaking and photography. She earned a BFA in Photography from Washington University in St. Louis and has spent many summers leading wilderness trips with the Cottonwood Gulch Foundation. When she's not at school, Ellen enjoys cooking, making art, gardening, biking and spending time with friends and family. She is looking forward to meeting and working with the families of TMES!
