Bio:
Ms. Natasha has a K-8 teaching license from UNM and is highly qualified in Language Arts and TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language). Her undergraduate degree is in Anthropology and she has a Masters in Library Science.
Ms. Natasha received her 6-9 Montessori training from North America Montessori Center.
Before becoming a teacher, she had a long career as a Children's Librarian and has a great love of children's literature and an ever-growing classroom library. She likes to read, run, practice yoga, and knit in her free time (but not all at once).

Bio:
My name is Jill Jurkiewicz. You get a reward if you can correctly pronounce my last name. :) My husband Craig and I and our cat (who thinks he is a dog), Bob, have lived here in New Mexico for almost two years. New Mexico is a lot different from where we grew up in New Jersey. But we love it here! We recently bought a house, so we are here for good! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, and I am currently studying to be a teacher. This is my second year as an E.A. at TMES. Like Ms. Natasha, I, too, love books. We are going to be a good team. The first week in 6 - 9 has been fun. I look forward to the rest of the year. In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to music, painting, taking photographs, hiking, and watching anything that can make me laugh. I look forward to getting to know you all, and a great year at TMES!
