Bio:
Ms. Sonia is excited about joining TMES this year as a Kindergarten teacher! She has worked in an educational setting for the past four years while working on her Bachelors degree. Ms. Sonia would like to work on earning a TESOL certification within the next year. Ms. Sonia will be available as a tutor during the aftercare program and will also be assisting with BeforeCare. In her free time Ms. Sonia enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and spending time outdoors.

Bio:
Hi, name is Mary Gourd. I am Ms. Sonia's new kindergarten assistant and also the proud mother of a Montessori Elementary second year student. My son and I are very excited to be here. We recently relocated to Albuquerque, my hometown, from Farmington, New Mexico. I am a K-12 New Mexico, Level II licensed teacher and most of my teaching experience has been teaching second grade. I am looking forward to working within the Montessori educational model and with Ms. Sonia's Kindergartners.
