Established in 2005, The Montessori Elementary School (TMES) is a charter school through the Public Education Commission (PEC) in the State of New Mexico. TMES currently serves students from kindergarten through eighth grade from Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. TMES classes incorporate the Montessori philosophy and curriculum, with weekly Suzuki music lessons and Visual Art classes. All students and parents participate in the Suzuki Strings program, taking lessons in violin, cello or violas.
