About The Montessori Elementary School
Established in 2005, The Montessori Elementary School (TMES) is a charter school in the Albuquerque Public Schools district. TMES currently serves students from kindergarten through sixth grade throughout New Mexico. Open Enrollment occurs in February every year through an annual lottery. TMES classes incorporate the Montessori philosophy and curriculum, with weekly Suzuki Violin lessons, art and general music classes. All students and parents participate in the Suzuki Violin Method and take lessons in violin.
